Rescale a pattern photo to fit your actual blank, with rotation and a print calibration check — nothing leaves your browser.

How this works

Most patterns online (including the ones linked from projects here) are drawn for one specific block size. If your blank is a different size, you're normally stuck eyeballing a photocopier scale setting. This tool does the math instead: tell it the size the pattern was drawn for and the size of your actual blank, upload a photo or scan of the pattern, and it scales and rotates it to the correct print size for your wood.

Crop or photograph your pattern so its edges line up with the block outline, with no extra margin — the whole image is treated as exactly filling the reference size below. Everything runs client-side in your browser; the image is never uploaded anywhere.

Browsers don't always print at true physical size unless you select "Actual size" / 100% scale (not "Fit to page") in the print dialog. Print the calibration square at the bottom of the pattern and measure it with a ruler — if it isn't exactly 1 inch, adjust your printer's scale percentage and print again before cutting anything.
